The bottom line is that CoachGrader will NOT release your personal information without your consent.
Anyone can visit our site free of charge. You are welcome to browse our coaches and read comments without ever giving us your individual information. But we do need to gather some information about users who wish to submit grades and comments. We collect information in two ways: directly from you and through the use of "cookies".
First, if you want to grade a coach, we will ask you to provide some personal information. If you have already registered, you know that the information we require is very basic: your e-mail address, a password, and your gender.
One of the reasons we ask for your e-mail address is so that we can communicate with you and possibly send you the latest information about CoachGrader. You can opt-out of receiving correspondence from us by selecting that option when you register. If you don't want to hear from us, we promise to leave you alone!
Second, when you register with CoachGrader, a "cookie" may be placed on your computer. Cookies are bits of information that a web site places on your computer's hard drive for record-keeping and activity-tracking purposes. Cookies cannot be used to learn your identity unless you have previously provided that information to that web site or your web browser automatically provides that information.
In conjunction with the registration information you provide, cookies help us recognize you when you return to the site, and they let you avoid having to log-in each time you visit. In addition, it allows us to do other things that increase the usefulness of the site. This includes personalizing our service so the content we show you better matches your interests. Eventually our system will be able to make guesses about your interests based on the parts of the site you visit, and the grades you submit. We also collect log files that identify information such as IP address, browser type, domain name, referral URL, country of origin, pages visited, entry points, and exit points, but we do NOT link those files to personally identifying information.
Of course, notwithstanding anything in this policy to the contrary, we will provide personal information if we are or believe that we are legally required to do so pursuant to a subpoena, warrant, other legal method or applicable law.
One of the great features of CoachGrader is that we allow you, as a user, to leave comments - not just grades - so you can explain your opinions in some detail. Please remember that when you post your comments they are publicly available, so you should exercise caution when deciding to disclose anything personal about yourself.
As mentioned previously, CoachGrader provides users the opportunity to opt-out of receiving communications from us and our partners during the registration process. Users can also remove themselves from our e-mailing list by writing to us at email@example.com.
Users can modify their personal information by accessing my account or sending an email to firstname.lastname@example.org.
If you have any questions about this privacy statement, the practices of this site, or your dealings with this Web site, please send an e-mail to email@example.com.
Acceptance of Terms.
CoachGrader reserves the right to make changes to this policy. We will notify you about significant changes in the way we treat personal information by sending a notice to the primary email address specified in your CoachGrader account or by placing a prominent notice on our site.
